I was born in 1967 in an Orthodox Lingayath (Hindu) family. My parents lived in Chitradutga, Which is District Head Quarter in Karnataka State, India. As I grew up I followed the footsteps of my parents. I worshipped idols and went on pilgrimages with them till I was twenty one years old.
Then one day an evangelist by the name is A.V. John, he from Kerala state, came to our town and preached about Jesus Christ. He even personally talked to me and explained to me how Jesus became a sacrifice to pay the penalty of my sins. I was convicted my sins and the need of forgiveness by the spirit of God. I accepted what Jesus had done for my sins; I received him as my Lord and Savior on that day June 1st 1989. My people started persecuting me. Some of them even tried witchcraft on me to dissuade me from my decision. When they saw that I was not bounding my parents expelled me from their house and the community disowned me.
However, God gave me grace to move on in the new faith. I was baptized by immersion on Jan, 1st 1990. Immediately I decided to join a Bible school at Bangalore from where I obtained a basic diploma in theology in a period of two years. Then I went to further study in Hyderabad for B.Th, M.Div. I finished this Theological course. Simultaneously attended school to improve my secular education.
Now I am doing Ministry in Adoni TQ, Kowthalam Mandalam, Kurnool Dist, Andhra — Pradesh - South India.
I would like to continue the work for the Lord along with some other servants of Jesus Christ. We are praying that God would open some door to meet our financial needs, both personal and ministry related.
